About the Author
My name is Chuck Sessa, and I am a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. During my service, I was stationed at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines and at Jacksonville Air Force Base in Arkansas. It was while I was in Arkansas that I dedicated my life to the Lord, marking a pivotal moment in my personal and spiritual journey. After completing my military service, I became active in the Christian community, sharing my faith through music. I sang and played guitar at various Christian functions and participated in many Christian coffeehouses.
Seeking to further my education, I earned a degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound and went on to work in a hospital for several years. I am married and have three adult children, all of whom live in the Pittsburgh area. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and fishing. My family and I own a camper, and we love to explore and camp at different campgrounds throughout Pennsylvania. Later in my career, I transitioned into teaching Ultrasound and eventually became the Program Director.

Alongside my professional work, I am deeply involved in various ministries at my church. I am part of a dedicated team that leads the Wednesday night Bible study, helping others grow in their faith. The idea for my book, A Servant’s Journey: Short Stories, emerged while I was preparing a Bible lesson at my desk.
Memories of a powerful move of the Holy Spirit from years ago came flooding back, filling my mind with extraordinary stories of God’s work. Each day, new stories surfaced, compelling me to share them with others. That’s when I realized I should write a book, which I did, to pass along these inspiring experiences.
“ A journey of transformation, where the soul struggles and awakens to the guiding light of faith, embracing God’s love despite doubts and resistance. “
